Movie day

On Wednesday morning at Wainui beach school we were watching a movie. We had already voted on Tuesday the options were Pets united, how to train your dragon and finally the movie I voted for The Sleepover.  Anyway we had to run 2 laps of are field and then we could watch the movie I did my 2 laps and I was walking on the court with Cash and Archie's mum told him to come and help out then she said my name so I had to help out.  And she took us into the staff room and there were about 5 boxes full of popcorn she said that I had to take the box up to room 5 so I did.

There were 3 clases waiting out my class  and when I walked in there was are box of popcorn. I grabbed a seat and Taika, Neko and Flynn sat next to me the teacher said " come and get your popcorn" so everyone did once I got my popcorn I sat back down and the movie started playing while I was eating my popcorn.  The movie was about these international thevis who tried to steal the queens crown once and one of them did not escape and he went to jail and then about 5 years later they went to steal it again you can watch the rest of the movie at home.  At half way of the movie we went out to morning tea and came back in after the bell rang at the end of the movie we got are pizza I chose cheese pizza but I was pretty annoyed that we were weren't aloud to eat are pizza during the movie once I finished my pizza I went out to enjoy my lunch.  

Automata

 

Automata is basically a moving toy that moves nearly by itself these are the materials you will need to make it you need a cardboard box, straw, cardboard and a secure.  And you poke the secure threw the cardboard box then you get the extra cardboard and cut out a circle stick it through the secure and get another secure and poke it through the top.

Then get the extra cardboard and cut another circle out and get a bolt then put the bolt through the secure and then poke a hole through the circle and put the circle through the secure too and then get a hot glue gun and glue the circle to the secuer and the bolt should be on top of the circle.  I just made some touches to mine and go back to the first secure and then you just have turn that secure and it should look like this.

                                                                                       

LTP

 It was Learning Through  play and me and Taika decided to go to room 4 wich is cardboard nation.  Any way me and Taika tried to make a boxing bag but we got stuck because the tape kept on falling off.  So we decided to make a person out of cardboard and yous him as a boxing bag.

So we got to work I grabbed the cardboard and he got the craft knife and a whiteboard marker then he started  drawing the man once he was finished.  We started cutting it out that took a lot of time but we got it cut out and we were doing another layer.  But we didnt get up to that because the teacher had and idea that we should make the arms move so we got to work we got one of those pins that when you stick in the hole you can bent two bits of the pin spread apart.  Then we did that on both arms then when we lifted the man off the ground and both arms fell off then we went back to are class. 

  

       

Holidays

Friday 

It was last day of school and I was biking home.  When I got home I started watching TV everything was going well until Tigher kicked me out of the house so then I went to the playground with my brother Bodhi.  After a while it got boring so I went back home and had ,/some weet bix.

Saturday

I had the worst sleep last night and I woke up at 5.00am but I lay in bed until 6.00am because that's the only time I am allowed to get out of bed and get my breakfast so I got out of bed and made some french toast.

Its when you get 3 eggs and crack them in a bowl and pour some milk until the mixture looks kind of golden and then you get a pan out and put some olive oil in the pan and put it on the stove then you get a piece of bread and cover it in the mixture then put the bread on the pan and wait for the bubble to pop then you flip it over then your ready to go and eat.

Sunday

On Sunday I went to Momo's  house on the way there I got some lollies and a drink I ate all of my lollies but the ones I cant eat  I give to Momo.  Once I got there I knocked on his door and he answered so we had a play on the tramp then Momo went to the shop and bought balloons and we filled it up with water and put them on the tramp and bounced until all the balloons popped.

Bubbles

On Wednesday we had a substitute teacher.  Her name is Koka Holly and she likes art and now that lock down is over.  We decided to draw a bubble.

So she showed us how. She got out a piece of black paper and got a white pastel and grabbed a roll of tape and traced a circle and then drawed the light shining off and colored it with white and did some more.

Then she grabbed some colored pastels and did some lines of different colors. But not in the middle because if she put lines in the middle it wouldn't look symmetrical.  Then she gave us one white pastel each and a blake piece of paper then we head off to get something that has a circle then we started tracing. It was fun drawing bubbles.

Learning from home

 Learning from home/lock down

Corona virus has spread its why people are staying inside.  Anyway I had to do learning from home. We had to go to google meets. Its when we have a online meet. Then tell the teacher what we have done. We have two online meets every week.

It was harder for me because I missed some of my meets and I didnt know what to do. So I had to keep on emailing the teacher. That made learning from home hard. 

But its all because of Covid 19 . People were fighting for toilet paper. The world was madness luckily lockdown is over.
