Bubbles

On Wednesday we had a substitute teacher.  Her name is Koka Holly and she likes art and now that lock down is over.  We decided to draw a bubble.

So she showed us how. She got out a piece of black paper and got a white pastel and grabbed a roll of tape and traced a circle and then drawed the light shining off and colored it with white and did some more.

Then she grabbed some colored pastels and did some lines of different colors. But not in the middle because if she put lines in the middle it wouldn't look symmetrical.  Then she gave us one white pastel each and a blake piece of paper then we head off to get something that has a circle then we started tracing. It was fun drawing bubbles.

Learning from home

 Learning from home/lock down

Corona virus has spread its why people are staying inside.  Anyway I had to do learning from home. We had to go to google meets. Its when we have a online meet. Then tell the teacher what we have done. We have two online meets every week.

It was harder for me because I missed some of my meets and I didnt know what to do. So I had to keep on emailing the teacher. That made learning from home hard. 

But its all because of Covid 19 . People were fighting for toilet paper. The world was madness luckily lockdown is over.

Swimming sports 2020

Wednesday morning I woke up from a good night sleep wondering what's on today o'year iv got swimming sports today, so I went down stairs and made some breakfast got dressed and grabbed my togs brushed my hair brushed my teeth packed my bag with my lunch box drink bottle almost forgot my togs.  I woke my dad up and told him I was going to school but obsessive I didn't go to school without watching tv so after 1 episode of Rick and Morty.  I started biking to school ones I got there I hung my bag on the hook and went out side to the playground I figured it was just me o wait Corys here so I went on the monkey bars.  After 2 min I got bored so I went down to the hut I made with my friends and I went to go get berries.


Want's my friends came we went back up to the the playground to the monkey bars and talked for about 3 min.  then we played I dear you I got dared to jump of the eagles nest wich is not really that high but I did it anyway so they didn't change it to some thin harder.  then the bell rang so we went in side did our Quick write then it was bran breck so then we went to the bus and everyone sang the wheels on the bus go round and round.  Ones we got there it was my turn I was up on the block my heart beating I felt like it was going to beat out of my chest the whistle went I dived in when I came up for a breath I started doing freestyle ones I got to the end I did a ford flip and kicked against the wall and did another length of the pool I touched the wall with my hands and came third place.


After freestyle we had a little brac then a teacher called my name so I lined up for backstroke this time I wasn't so nervous I was anxious to get in the water because it was really cold after my first swim.  I hoped down into the pool ready and prepad to swim my heart out so that's what I did the buzzer went I pushed of the wall started doing backstroke I looked to the side and I saw rori in front of me so I started to go swet swet mode I touched the wall with my hand and came 3rd again.  I waited for a bite and then they called my name for my last rase breaststroke I lined up and hoped on the block then Koka Rozi blow the buzzer I dived and came up for breath and started swimming ones I touched the wall and I went up to grab my stick looks like I came second.     

Back to school 2020

First we had a talk about how are day was gone to go. After the talk we went to find out whos in are buzz groups so the teacher gave us a piece of paper with some writing on it she said we have to find 6 or 5 people that have something that relates to mine.Mine was goat I went then I found Alivia then Kayla then Noa and finally Jaxon. Ones we found are buzz groups we played a game could Tension in are buzz groups.  So its when you grab a whiteboard and a marker and then a teacher has a card that has ten things in common but we don't know what  they are and a teacher calls something out like ten things that are orange and then you write things that you think are orange but your on a time limit ones that has finished then the teacher calls out the ten things that are on her card and if you get any of the words that she said right you put a tick next to the word.

A couple of days after that first paragraph we did this collaborative art piece so the teacher would pase out a piece of paper that had a pitcher on it and then she gave us a bigger piece of paper that was blank.  Then she said we had to copy the pitcher that was on the small piece of paper on the blank piece ones you finished you had to color in what was on the small piece.  ones everyone in your class is finished the teacher would put all the pieces together ones all the pieces are together it would turn out to be a super cool picher.

Week 10 recap

                                     WEEK 10 RECAP

I really liked how we had a game every morning and seeing the classes talent and I liked Medic, dodgeball and annihilation.  I liked our Holes song and some of the learning at school. I really hated the math and E-Ako.


I really hated the math and E-Ako It was to much math vomit, I was the 2nd best at every game I think I hated the Speech why do you even do Speech's. The cup thing was real cool I'm sorry If you sad If I don't know the cup things real name.

I am Reef. I go to Wainui Beach School and I am in year 4. I live with my mum and dad.  Our family loves to go to the beach because we just have to cross the road and then we can go for a swim. Me and my family loves going to McDonald's except my mum. She hates it. She reckons that she can make better burgers than McDonald's.

I find maths really hard. I love Writing. I'm good at climbing, trampolining and this new game, Annihilation, Nothing has changed in my life except that now I'm in room 1. My goal is to be a professional climber, a professional trampolinist or a professional soccer player

I am looking forward to playing a lot more Annihilation. My biggest  achievement is doing a backflip/twist on a tramp. I reckon my little brother wants to copy me every day. I've only shared something about hedgehogs on my blog. I connect with others by asking them what's their name then asking them how old are you and then we normally just play .
